Sinhala learning blog launching in t-minus…

Sinhala Learning Blog LaunchSo, everything finally seems to be ready for the launch of this Sinhala learning blog…

FIVE…

I’ve got all my ducks, geese, and chickens in their respective rows.

I’ve learned all about setting up a blog, including all the behind-the-scenes technical bits; I’ve setup the company over here in Monaco, and I’ve worked my Sri Lankan ‘behind’ off on creating content, some days even pushing it to the limit when my brain said “screw this, I’m off to bed”.

And why?…

FOUR…

Quite simply put, to give life to this idea of mine that the whole scary process of learning to speak Sinhala can be simplified. And all it took me was only one entire year to setup this Sinhala learning blog…. (yikes!)

Truth be told, I’m sure if I had to do something like this again, I know for sure that I’d be able to cut it short immensely. But as much as I’d hate to admit it, I think it was necessary for me to make all those mistakes along the way. I’ve had to delete entire batches of pages I wrote because I thought they were rubbish; and for some of the Sinhala language products I’m working on (which I’m impatient to show you guys) I had to start all over again, because, well… I just didn’t feel like it was something I could be proud of. But I powered through and today I’m happy. Exhausted, but happy.

THREE…

Alright folks, I’m going to get back to what I was doing (I’ll let you know more about it soon..) but just wanted to quickly say “hello, welcome” and tell you to watch this space, because as someone who believes in continuous development (whether it’s about me and my life or this blog, for instance) I will be incessantly adding more and more stuff to this Sinhala learning blog, which I think might be helpful for you to learn to speak Sinhala (actually, you could help me out and send me an email and TELL ME what you will find useful, so that I don’t need to rely on guess work of what you need).

TWO…

In the meantime, TO GET YOU STARTED RIGHT AWAY, I’m happy to offer you your free copy of my freshly finalized eBook “100 Essential Sinhala Phrases”. Just enter your details in the orange sign up form to get on my mailing list and have the book emailed to you. I really think you might find it helpful.

Looking forward to talking to you all soon.

and ONE…”We have lift off!”
