Why do you pronounce the same word two different ways?

You say ma∙tȧ “é∙paa, bo∙ho∙mȧ is∙thoo∙thi” without the ‘ho’, then “bo∙ho∙mȧ is∙thoo∙thi!” WITH the ‘ho’.

    I guess it’s a common contraction?

Ha! Sorry about that. Common contraction. Correct way would be to pronounce the ‘ho’ in both instances.
